Edwin Forbes Glenn (b. Jan. 10, 1857, North Carolina-d. Aug. 5, 1926), Major General in the U.S. Army, graduated from West Point in 1877 and received his law degree in 1890. He served as judge advocate in several locations and as commander of exploration and relief expeditions to Alaska. John Loomis Chamberlain (b. 1858, New York-d. 1948), Major General in the U. S. Army, graduated from the U.S. Military Academy in 1880 and served until his retirement in 1921. He took part in the Spanish-American War (1898-1899), the fighting with the Sioux Indians (1900-1901), the struggle against the Moros of the Philippines in 1903, and during World War I, inspecting the American Expeditionary Forces in France in 1918.
